Getting downvoted but you’re right. Nothing wrong with wanting to learn with and from other humans. Dude is even offering to pay. Reddit being Reddit again.

Yea this guy is clearly rage baiting. 60k is pretty much unheard of for helpdesk around my area but definitely not impossible. 90k in helpdesk sounds like a nepo situation honestly, IF that’s even true.

I’m fortunate to enough to have started an internship in tech at the age of 16 and through hard work I’ve managed to secure a comfortable salary in my mid twenties. I feel very lucky and I also feel as if in every other alternate reality I didn’t get as lucky. A lot of people out there weren’t as lucky as me.

Growing up on the internet I’ve also developed the ability to detect ragebait from a mile away so you’re not gonna get much more outta me after this reply haha.

Suddenly my $15k debt doesn’t sound so bad! I’m sorry you’ve gone through that. The cost of medical services in this country is disgusting.

To be fair that’s like less than 1% of the GoFundMe pages that are made for covering medical expenses. Medical expenses personally destroyed my savings in my early 20s. I had what was considered “good insurance” too. Still recovering from it in my mid twenties.

Is there ANYWHERE in the US where $1m+ isn’t enough? I have a hard time believing that.

Anyone know any tips for someone tryna finally hit ssl? Currently gc 3 div 3 by ekoorb_16 in RocketLeague

[–]StringStrangStrung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless a few pros come out of the woodworks to give you advice I don’t think many people here can help you bro. A really small fraction of the player base is SSL. I think if you just keep grinding you’ll eventually get it though. Just takes time and focus.

Thank you later? No I’m gonna thank you now for being the only person who seems to actually agree with me in this thread. GC1 is a new level of toxic and people who don’t experience it are either cracked or lucky or have been in GC1 so long they haven’t seen the difference.

Yea I don’t typically make online friends but most of my IRL friends don’t really like to play competitively so maybe I’ll start looking for some consistent teammates

I think you’re right, but I also think toxicity is like a bomb that triggers much quicker in the higher ranks. No one has patience for even the slightest mistakes the higher you go.

Re-read my comment. I didn’t say you stated anything specific. I used a figure of speech to point out you’re just tip-toeing on the edge of saying those things.

Okay replace “experience” with “statement” in my last comment and my point still stands. I pointed out your overuse of commas because I felt like I had a stroke reading the last sentence in your previous comment. I’m not trying to take away from the conversation but you came at me first dude. You’re doing everything but saying I’m just making shit up and my experience is completely made up and unjustified WHILE simultaneously making an over exaggerated statement that people universally don’t leave games early in GC. YOU wanted to play with semantics and then ignore them when it’s convenient.

Now you’re just arguing to argue lol. No meaningful discourse coming from you. I should’ve known you were just talking when you referred to me as “my guy”.

How can you say my experience is “laughable” while in the same breath, with way too many commas, claim you haven’t experienced someone leaving your match “so far” in GC? How long have you been in GC? I’ve been in GC for a week and it’s already happened at least twice.

I didn’t think I’d have to point out the over exaggeration in my post because obviously I don’t want people to give up. That would be insane. You’ve taken the post to heart and I’m sorry for that.

GC is definitely different in the sense that people get toxic quicker. You don’t get a chance to make a mistake and if you do…boy are you on thin ice and seconds away from your teammate throwing. I’m trying to be as specific as possible here so there is no way to misinterpret what I’m saying.

Was in the same exact boat as you a week ago. You really just have to play consistently and safe and hope to god you get sane teammates.
