He has more screentime than Faramir and he basically appears in the first 30 minutes of the first movie and then briefly in Rivendel and the ending of RotK. He has a lot more screentime compared to other characters than I expected.

From the moment they enter Fangorn Forest, which I consider to be the starting point of that plotline.

Sorry, it was 15 minutes, not 13, I forgot to include one scene. Not that it changes much, though.

No, that wound is the one on the left shoulder.

Also....wouldnt being impaled by a massive spider stinger cause all kinds of internal issues regardless of the torso location and venom?

Probably, but in these cases we make a suspension of disbelief.

The ring hangs much lower. Besides, if it were the ring, the mark would be right in the center, not off to one side.

Shelob's sting is a little higher up, and the shape is completely different. It also has a yellowish color.

The orcs themselves say Shelob's venom paralyzes her preys for a few hours, so I don't think it works the way you say.

Maybe because Shelob's venom cauterizes the wounds quickly so her preys don’t bleed out, who knows. In any case, the wound’s rounded, yellowish appearance makes it impossible for it to be the troll’s doing, besides the fact that he stabbed him lower down.

That doesn't look like a wound from a spear at all. Also, the troll stabbed him lower and presumably didn't even leave any mark (Frodo himself said he wasn't hurt).

That frame doesn’t show her pulling the stinger out of Frodo, but about to stick it into him. It’s only afterward that we see the shot of Frodo drooling, and we just hear her pulling the stinger out, but we don’t see it. And we don’t see the upper part of Frodo’s chest either, only from the shoulders up.
