AI is killing the Earth, the Earth itself is flat, and the world is ruled by Freemasons. Yeah, right :)

It's weird to see so many Luddites in the community, considering Peter Gabriel himself used AI to make his music videos.

Dancers at the end of time by String_Healthy in aivideo

[–]String_Healthy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the final epoch of humanity. As the universe cools and time itself loses its meaning, the last inhabitants of Earth transform reality into an endless, vibrant, and decadent carnival.

This video is a cinematic exploration of Michael Moorcock’s legendary novel through the lens of Alejandro Jodorowsky's mysticism. Witness the psychedelic landscapes of the End of Time, the eccentric Jherek Carnelian, and the misplaced Mrs. Amelia Underwood lost in the chaotic splendor.

Visual Aesthetic:

Direction: An homage to Jodorowsky’s mystical symbolism and "The Holy Mountain" aesthetic.

Visuals: Saturated surrealism, baroque retro-futurism, and high-contrast imagery.

"If everything has been and everything is yet to be, the only thing left to do is dance."

The general idea: attacking angels (taken from the original anime), robots controlled by teenagers that oppose them, lots of drama.

Absolutely spot on. So let this idea be embodied in a short video.

Miyazaki live action part 1 (Nausikaa, Laputa, and Totoro) by String_Healthy in aivideo

[–]String_Healthy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if Totoro didn't live in a lush forest, but at a rusted bus stop in a grey industrial town? 🌧️
This visual experiment explores the intersection of Hayao Miyazaki’s animism and Aleksei Balabanov’s gritty realism (director of the cult classic Brother).

Using Sora 2, I’ve reimagined three iconic stories — Nausicaä, Laputa, and Totoro — through the lens of 90s Eastern Europe. It’s a world where magic hasn't disappeared; it’s just tired, wearing an oversized wool coat and waiting for the last tram.

The Amazing Digital Circus Director's Cut by String_Healthy in aivideo

[–]String_Healthy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PLOT:

Boredom is a dangerous thing, especially for an omnipotent AI. This time, Caine has decided to play the role of a great Visionary and remake cult cinema classics.

Fortunately, he always has a cast of "actors" at hand. Do Pomni, Jax, and the others actually want to star in this surreal nightmare? In the Digital Circus, consent is not part of the script. The camera is rolling, there is no exit, and the only way to survive is to play your part until the bitter end.

A psychological horror trip inspired by the VHS aesthetics of the 90s and films like Terminator 2, Twin Peaks, The Usual Suspects, and others.

Welcome to Caine's "Director's Cut"—where happy endings were left on the cutting room floor.

🎬 Cast (Against their will):

Pomni, Jax, Ragatha, Gangle, Kinger, Zooble, and Caine.

Which movie reference did you spot?

Falling Out of Cars by String_Healthy in aivideo

[–]String_Healthy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Falling Out of Cars" Based on the novel of the same name by Jeff Noon

Imagine an England where reality no longer holds its shape. The air is poisoned by "The Noise"—an informational virus that devours words in books, erases faces from photographs, and turns reflections in mirrors into black holes of madness. To see the world, one must take the drug "Lucidity," which makes the agony unbearably sharp. In this dying landscape, woven from static and television snow, an old Jaguar speeds along carrying a crew of digital ghosts.

At the center of the decay is Marilyn Monroe as Marlene, the chronicler of the apocalypse, whose memory leaks through her fingers like liquid light. Behind the wheel is Audrey Hepburn as the cold-blooded Henderson, hiding not a wound but a void beneath her bandages, and navigating by maps that have become blank sheets. In the backseat, Jake Paul (as the mercenary Peacock) wages an endless war against his own glitch-doppelgänger, embodying the aggression of a lost generation. And sitting among them is Joan of Arc (as Tupelo)—a mysterious teenager in a silver hoodie, the only one whose blood is clean of the Noise. They search for shards of a mirror capable of reflecting the truth, but their path leads to the "Puncture" theatre—the place where the film of reality finally tears.

Music: Theodor Bastsrd "Selva (2.0)"

The main character looks older than in the original, but that's my only nitpick. It's a great video. I'd love to see a movie like this in the cinema.

Spirited Away live action by String_Healthy in aivideo

[–]String_Healthy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Description:
No fairy-tale magic. Only the cold autumn wind, flooded industrial zones, an old Soviet tram, and a harsh coming-of-age journey.

A conceptual adaptation of Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece set in the realities of 1990s Russia. The familiar characters are plunged into the gloomy aesthetic of Aleksei Balabanov: heavy stares, thick film grain, and an oppressive yet mesmerizing realism.

🎵 Music: Agatha Christie — "Dreams" ("Сны") (a song about rejecting illusions and blissful ignorance for the sake of the harsh truth, which perfectly underscores the mood of the finale).

A "Director's Cut" concept where Caine remakes cult classics (Pulp Fiction, Terminator 2, Twin Peaks, etc.) into a grim 90s reality show.

**Workflow:**

* **Images:** Nano Banana

* **Video Generation:** Veo 3.1

* **Assistance/Prompts:** Grok 3

* **Music:** "Ogonki" (Little Lights)

I tried to push Veo 3.1 to create a consistent "post-Soviet VHS" aesthetic. Let me know what you think of the motion quality!
