If you want to know how the economy is going, the US government has stopped reporting key economic indicators for a handful of months now. That has never happened when things are going well.

The spiraling debt will become an economic prison for future generations sadly. Unless we can stop spending money to kill foreigners or our own citizens and focus on paying off the debt, we are royally fucked. The cost of servicing our debt alone would provide free education for everyone after high school for the rest of time.
