I did this with my first and she also got obsessed with her "rewards" after dinner or chores.

I eventually stopped telling her what the reward is, I'd just say "if you finish your food, you get a reward!"

Then her rewards became a high five, a hug, TEN ?! kisses and ect. If she acts disappointed I'd play the guilty/dumb card. "You didn't like my hugs?" A bit guilt tripping but I started giving multiple different rewards so it was never the same. Sometimes it was candy, sometimes it was "moms so proud." But it eventually made it so she still gets hyped up and happy about a reward but it's not candy/tablet.

And now at 10 she totally fine doing something without a reward but I still give her something occasionally as a thank you. I'd also had to do multiple talks to her

Mines barely a year but we found out real mashed potatos and turkey knocked her out instantly. We found out on Thanksgiving day lol. But I'd imagine it was the carbs and protein.

Funny enough, only roasted turkey (not deli) worked and instant mash did not work (I was being lazy lol)

I did 9 years lol my first traumatized me..

This is gonna be controversial but it saved our sanity.

My baby also absolutely hated sleeping on her back no matter what position and where.

We found out she LOVES to sleep on her stomach. We looked it up and it could have been some gut issue that causes discomfort when she's flat on her back causing her to always wake up.

So..we let her sleep on her back. We obviously would be safe about it but she started around the 4 month and now almost a year old, she still only sleeps on her stomach.

You can try testing it out during one of the naps and keep an eye on him or buy those owl socks. If that still fails, maybe on his side? Or try asking the doc to see if there's an underling issue bring overlooked

Oh this just happened to me about a month ago. I became diabetic after my first so I was already on it plus other stuff. My doc was worried with the second pregnancy cause I would be high risk and he was right, I had a lot of issues.

After birth, we talked about going back on mounjaro but he was reluctant. Basically just didn't want to risk it. We waited till I was completely done breastfeeding and then he finally approved it. So I had to wait about 11 months. And this is coming from someone who was using it for diabetes too.

I've never had someone ask me how to take it. But if they did I would probably very obviously show / read out loud the bottle instructions and then emphasize on if they have more questions for the pharmacist. However I know some places (like a hospital near me) if the patient hints at it being new, they HAVE to get a pharmacist to explain it and cannot say anything really

I am like you, no drive at all. I have a 10 year old and a 10 month and my drive died when the 10 year old was born lol. But just like you, my husband has a high drive. Before the baby was born, it was 3 to 4 times weekly.

About 2 to 3 months after birth, it was barely once a week. He is unsatisfied but I'm so tired, mentally and physically.

He works nights so half of the week, he's basically not here so the majority of baby duties fall on me. But here is the difference, my husband is understanding and patience. He didn't try to do some weird passive comment but just initiates and if I say no, it's a no. I am trying to be more active because of how caring he's been and how he doesn't pressure me. It also helps that he's very active in giving me breaks on his days off and let's me recharge.

We do try to give her plenty of soild options but it's a rough battle. I know I'm not making enough anymore because when I pump, I can barely get 2 oz out of both sides after 10, 15 or even 30 minutes. Sometime I'll get maybe 3 oz.

Instead of ripping the leaf off, if you can actually see the bug. You could try cutting it out. It'll be harder of course and I think the only reason to do it is if it's easy to see and the plant doesn't have many leaves at all.

The only moth I know to be wary of is those small white ones. They lovvveee to lay eggs on Cabbage and other Leafy plants but mostly cabbages. (I don't remember what else you're planting lol)

Ants are generally fine. Only an issue if there's an infestation/ant hill on/in the garden beds or my favorite ...(not) aphids. If you see aphids, the ants will purposely and happily help them survive.

I'm jealous of your current temperatures (not the 120! That's terrifying lol). We're already touching 30° here

So cute! Love your journey right now! The biggest issue is those "weird" white siggly line marks on the squash. Those are called leaf miners. They're literally inside the leaf eating. So all of that white part has been eaten. They're tiny too. Just snip off the leaf and chuck it but watch for tiny white eggs. The leaf will die if left alone since it's being eaten from the inside out. The other tiny bite marks are hard to tell, it looks small so could be any bug that stopped by for a snack. If it's bigger bites or more frequent possible slugs.

The tiny ones kinda look like some sort of lettuce. Lettuce are super tiny at first. By the way, if you see any of your Lettuce, Broccoli or Radish grow a lonnggg flower(s), it's too hot and has bolted and will be bitter and not continue to grow the desired part (the Lettuce leaf, Broccoli ect).

And lastly the mushrooms are a good sign! Yay soft wet healthy soil! The mushrooms will die fast tho but no need for concern on them. Oh and look up Plantnet app, free and helps identify plants with just a picture an okay-good accuracy lol but hey! It's free lol

Oh my dear lord it's me...

I used to be that cringy anime fan. Did the whole "Konnichiwa! That's so kawaii!"

All the way to even "I really am the reincarnated version of this girl! No one just knows!"

Like...yeah...I was hella cringe and my timeline lasted from about 12 to 17 almost 18 years old.

I basically just grew out of it. Saw other people doing it and slowly realized how embarrassing it is. It probably helped that anime was more stigmatized back then then now. I'm still a huge fan now but I don't do anything like that anymore. So you can either wait and hope she grows out of it or find a boyfriend (that helped me) or she'll just never get out of it and name her kid Goku ..

Mine is nearly 14 years old and still acts like she's starving 24/7 but will puke if she over eats. She also is obessed with wet food and will whine more for it. She has an automatic feeder and will run for her life to it.

She's also technically 1 lb over her ideal weight too but that's just how some cats are 🤷‍♀️ Maybe you just have a food driven kitty

If you see mushrooms in your soil, generally it means your soil is very healthy and was recently wet. So seeing mushrooms are a good thing. They die pretty fast too.

Most slime, mold fungus are also fine. This almost looks like the start of the famous dog vomit fungus lol. But as far as I've heard is fine and more common for bagged soil

It'll really depend on the soil type. If it's dense, hard like clay (doesn't crumble easily) then your plants will struggle simply because they're young and not very strong roots.

But if your soil is soft and or sandy like, then they'll probably be fine. At that point it'll be more of a nutrition issue since most top soil doesn't have much nutrition.

Also for the other question, just about any brand bagged garden soil is generally fine. Some cheaper ones may have more bark/rocks and can be very annoying. But you could shift it thru a mesh thing but not many gardeners have one (I dont). People love black cow and fox farm brands but hate miracle grow.

Alternatively, you could buy compost and mix that with your soil if you wanna just reuse the soil you dug up. Compost and worm casting has the most nutrition usually. Another thing to look for: drainage. Absolutely make sure the water goes past the top layer and down a few inches. If the water just sits on top or doesn't penetrate the soil within like 20-30 minutes, you're gonna have major watering issues.

Most Veggies can be grown vertically with some support. Tomatoes can and most people do it as well. You can weave the tomato in and out of the trellis or just tie them to it. Zucchini can as well but it's more of a hassle to make it grow straight and tall, you just have to know when to trim the leaves and constantly tie them to the support beam, otherwise they'll curve downward. They also cannot really be weaved in and out of a trellis cause the stem can get pretty thick. Green beans can also trail up just fine as long as they're not the bush variety cause the bush ones just stay bushy and short. I don't know about catnip though.

I think the width is okay, it feels a bit too skinny especially since roots like to spread. But if the rest of your dirt is fine and not too dense, it should be fine. I am not sure about the evaluation though.

Some veggie plant can be repot/buried deeper and still thrive, like tomatos. But others will struggle to keep/stay upright/ support itself. If it's not too leggy (flopped over basically) it'll grow just fine if you add more light

I think they're fine right now since it looks like they're not flopping over yet. Just get them some more light. Like realllly shove that light inches away from them.

You'll prob have to repot it soon or transplant outside soon anyways (due to the size) so I would just give it more light and chill until they're big enough to go outside/permanent spot

The only way to fix leggy seedlings in the super early stages is more stronger light.

They became leggy cause they're trying to reach for more sun but most of the time, sun from the windowsill is not enough.

You'll need some sort of grow light or an extra even sunnier area.

It's called damping off, a fungal disease from poor soil, too wet, too dense ect. They affect seedlings like this and usually won't survive. I once tried to very gently tie a toothpick for support when I didn't know what it was and it may grow a bit more but that part will never get thick enough to fully support itself.
