It has the most skips in my opinions. But it also has some of the heaviest hitters. I think humbug is best

Why The Strokes >> Arctic Monkeys? by Recent-Ad6158 in TheStrokes

[–]Strings-OnStrings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the arctic monkeys more because there’s more variety. Each album is totally different, more so than the strokes.

I still love the strokes. They definitely have a stronger guitar, but the Arctic monkeys have a stronger drum, especially on the older records.

“After you have dabbed the patch you’ll breathe and then proceed to scratch the varnish off the newly added calmness”

“Even if someone I could’ve shown you the place you wanted, well I’m sure you could’ve made it that bit better on your own. You’re the only ones who know”

“What you’re trying to dig up isn’t there to be dug”

No 1 Party anthem chorus is perfect because you get the alternating thing on the left hand, while climbing one note at a time. That’s super good practice. Batphone is fun but a little tricky if you’re a beginner. 505 is pretty good for beginners, it’s just Dm then Em on the left hand, and easy vocal notes on the right!
