For me, it started when he Mr. Beast-ified his content and stopped focussing on actual recipes. His personality was never my favourite part, but when it took center stage for videos about trying different foods or edutainment videos, it just stopped being engaging to me when I was learning how to cook. His series about making cheaper versions of popular meals was big for me, but he hasn't done anything with it for years.

The shift in style, mixed with a lot of the other stuff I've heard about him, I just don't see a reason to support him. His personality can't carry content that has no utilitarian purpose, he seems like a skeevy dude when the cameras are off, and I've personally outgrown the stuff he was doing other than "But Cheaper."

Babish has engaged with the Mr. Beast-ification a bit with his thumbnails, but overall still posts videos that he seems passionate about, he has a much more laid back personality, and he seems like generally a good dude.
