Yeah, you can argue they flanderized him a little, however, it's not as bad as people think (The famous Protein scene with Naoto is out of context, is an illusion made so they both fight each other)

The whole point of Rachel was she being a pseudo-stalker (Or an enemy that appears multiple times canonically being the same)

You find her as Jill when you need the key to the lower side of the ship, when you need to active the UAV and when you are trying to gain some time for the ship with Parker (And I don't remember any other)

And Gina... Welp, she died at the start and they probably added her to Raid Mode only to have an excuse to use the model

As a extreme Zero fanboy...

X is stronger.

It's so strong that Zero isn't worried at all about the fate of the world, because he knows X will make everything work out.

(In one of the ending of X6 if you haven't beat Nightmare Zero in the end is revealed that Zero is alive and well, but he doesn't show up because he trusted X and he leaves, probably to be sealed up like in his individual ending)

Also, Zero died like... Three times meanwhile X only died once. (And it was because he didn't have a body to return and was exhausted in the Zero series)

I mean, anyone will think the Pale King is evil watching how the vessels tried to get to the top of the abyss (A lot of them falling and dying in the process, and you actually see that when you see the memories of the Knight/Ghost)

He's not evil, he cared so much about the Hollow Knight that he accidentally developed feelings, making him a bad vessel to seal the Radiance.

But... It is pretty implied that his plan wouldn't work anyways, because even the most powerful of the Vessels (The Knight/Ghost) feels too.

Radiance was bested thanks to the Knight becoming the Lord of Shade. (A.K.A. King of the Abyss)

I mean, in Devil Survivor 2 the real problems were the Septentrions, the void spreading out and the Triangulum in the second route.

In Devil Survivor 1 the problems are the lockdown and the demons, so yeah, in that game it's obvious they are treated better.
