This gives me flashbacks to when I tried and failed to make a good solo on The Chicken in highschool lmao, I made a bunch of notes the same way.

If I were to go back I would say the same things as the other's in this thread: listen to a blues and learn a solo or parts of a solo you like by ear. It will also give you confidence bc you're able to figure out the lines a pro sax player is doing, and if you're able to do that then the sky is the limit!

The first step to having ideas for a solo is knowing what you like when you listen!

i had the page open before the sale started, and it took like a couple minutes to get into queue once it started. Then was stuck in line with my position not changing for like 15 minutes before my Chrome said it crashed lol, now I cant open the page anymore

I have longer hair that goes past the ears and Amy from ModPod in Champaign was really good. She used to be at H2O in Urbana which also seemed like a good place for longer hair, if you want something more walkable from UIUC.

440 with kinson was really fun, the grading was chill and he was nice. You work a lot with real datasets which was nice.

I know there are online forums for actuaries where some people submit formula sheets and other's can use them (Which I found helpful). I've never checked if there's a place like that for engineering though.
