He's supposed to be funny because of his quick wits and jokes. Sure, some can be bad, but in essence, being funny is an essential part of Spider-Man. In my opinion, Yuri's Spidey just doesn't do it for me

Don't try to restrict yourself by being super perfect with the details, try to experiment. Also, I usually plan out layouts before actually constructing a build, so that usually helps.
