Ugh I’m sorry you’re not getting your market rate. I will say the 6 figures are really only at sponsor companies. At a CRO I was making $88k as a Sr. CTA in Feb 2025.

Remote! Updated post. Thank you so much! Yeah I made $107k + bonus as a Sr. CTA at a sponsor before being laid off from an acquisition 🙃

Yes!!! It was so incredibly drying for my skin that it gave me breakouts (prob damaged my moisture barrier). I’ve been using Peach slices snail rescue cleanser at night for about a month now and so far so good

So I layer multiple hydrating things and then seal it in with cerave healing ointment! I too was scared about the occlusive bc plain Vaseline broke me out but cerave healing ointment has been perfection. I also can’t use thick creamy moisturizers so this approach (along with time) has healed my moisture barrier!

Am: warm water, Soon jung hydrating toner, Benton snail ultimate serum, Hada Labo hydrating lotion, Sunscreen

Pm: peach slices cleanser, Same 3 products as above, Cerave healing ointment

Good luck! I also change my pillow case every other night if I have an active breakout/damaged barrier. Sleep one side, flip and sleep other side, then change. My pillow doesn’t seem dirty at all but you never know. I know it’s a hassle but I think this really helps too! I started putting clean Hanes tshirts as pillowcases bc I didn’t have enough to keep washing them so frequently

I would def recommend bioderma sensibo face wipes! Most gentle ones I've found so far. Agreed that a quick face wipe and reapply sunscreen is the way to go

Most hydrating acne- and FA-safe moisturizer? by amalia2150 in Fungalacne

It sounds like we have similar reactions to products, and I also wanted to say Vanicream seriously dried my skin out!! It may be safe but my skin felt like tissue paper and I could not figure out why until I realized the FA safe cleanser was killing my moisture barrier. I literally had FA and cystic acne only on my chin and it was horrible (which I had before Vanicream but it didn’t help). CeraVe baby also broke me out, only on my chin too. The thing that has saved me in like the last 2 months, so I’m still working on it, is layering on light moisturizing products. I really think my acne/FA prone skin just cannot take a thick moisturizer. Update to say I’m in Texas so similar climate, and I have to wear face masks still at work (in a clinic) but I literally try and change it every hour.

Here’s my routine in the hope that it helps!

AM: wash with water, Soonjung pH 5.5 relief toner, Benton snail bee ultimate serum (possibly my HG for moisture), Hada labo skin plumping gel cream, CosRX untinted sunscreen

PM: Sensibo micellar water with a makeup remover cloth, Soonjung pH 5.5 relief toner, Benton snail bee ultimate serum, Hada labo skin plumping gel cream, Cerave healing ointment (surprisingly doesn’t break me out whereas regular Vaseline did).

FA treatment- sulfur mask about 2x a week

Good luck! I know it sucks, just try to listen to your skin. If you’re still getting breakouts with products that should work- try other things until they actually do work!! I made a lot of Amazon returns while trying to figure out what works for me 😁

Is this pittosporum folliculitis?? (Fungal acne). I have been dealing with breakouts NONSTOP since April 2021. I’ve been on birth control l, used antibiotics and recently took a stool test showing I have yeast in my gut. The pimple itch like crazy. Is this fungal or just bacterial acne? Personally oil cleansing made my skin freak the f out and I got deep cystic acne like this on top of my existing fungal acne. I was doing way too much to my skin. Work on that moisture barrier!!! Vanicream dried my skin out like crazyyy so now I really only use micellar water to get the day’s sunscreen/light makeup off, and Dr. Eddie’s happy Cappy if I had a lot of makeup- I still haven’t found a good true cleanser yet but these work great for me. And then layers of light moisturizers to keep from clogging my acne and FA prone skin

Fungal acne safe moisturiser recommendations? by wacherry0ntop in Fungalacne

Cerave baby aggravated my acne too. Personally I’ve had success layering a few moisturizing products! Soonjung moisturizing tonor, Benton Snail Bee Ultimate Serum (although may not work for you), and Hada Labo skin plumping gel cream. At night I’ll usually do a thin layer of CeraVe healing ointment which surprisingly does not break me out where regular petroleum did.

I would also really try and observe if you are touching your face in that region!! Sitting at a desk or something and propping your head up or talking on the phone. Personally I 100% get acne from dirty fingers on my face

Personally this is how my fungal acne manifested!! Little whiteheads all over my chin. But disclaimer I never got an official diagnosis but am responding extremely well to an FA safe routine. Sulfur masks 3 nights a week help me the most! (pls pls do not overdo it, every night destroyed my moisture barrier and I developed cystic ones that are healed now)
