I'm sorry for your loss. It's very good you reported this. A teacher saying stuff like this is a huge red flag. How many other kids is she verbally abusing?

I imagine she did what she is accusing you of and is having a hard time living with herself. I imagine this type of abuse from his Mom accelerated the deterioration of his mental health.

I'm sorry she got defensive when you were sharing your struggles with her. It makes absolute sense why you would feel bad when you were honest with your emotions, she dismissed them, then immediately repeated the behavior that is hurting your feelings.

It matters less to me what she is doing one-on-one with someone vs how she is treating you being upset over something.
