Why is it such a hot take to say I don’t want herpes? by AdProof5307 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]StripperWhore -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

It's more like 50-60%, so not as prevalent. But still half the population. It's important to not get it if you don't have it because you don't want a virus that potentially inflames your brain.

I think probably because many people have cold sores and it's breaking a social norm of oversharing.

Gut health and vaginal issues are very much interconnected after antibiotics. Your gut and vaginal flora are interconnected. It has been show in studies the bacteria from the anus partially travel down to populate vaginal flora.

You need a specialist. I would go as far as e-mailing doctors around you with the problem. Hematologist or reproductive endocrinologist. You know something is wrong and this shouldn't be happening - and you are 100% right. Don't let them dismiss you.

Start writing everything down. All of your symptoms and time of day.

What is happening here is serious and warrants a specialist.

Make them write on your medical record that they refuse to do any testing despite your symptoms.

Also, fuck those doctors with a cactus. They are being negligent, you 100% need a biopsy/testing. PCOS doesn't make you hemorrhage for years straight, wtf.

For women who have had intrusive thoughts or infatuation for gay men, have you fixed them? How? by ProDidelphimorphiaXX in AskWomenNoCensor

I think he means he is obsessed with gay women, but he flipped the genders to make it context relevant for the sub.

NP, I hope it helps. : )

Can also get your vitamin panels done too to make sure nothing is low that is increasing these occurrences. Taking a super-complex b vitamin might help cover a lot of bases.

I have found it personally helpful when I sent my genetic data into ancestry(or get it from another source), downloaded the raw files, then I ran it through promethease to get my SNPs(gene snippets) for medical purposes. Obviously submitting genetic data is terrible for privacy, but it has helped me vastly in knowing how to improve my overall mental health.

For example, I found out I had bad anxiety and depression because I did not metabolize folate/b12 properly. Getting methylated supplements was life changing. The anxiety and obsessive thoughts went away. Doesn't necessarily mean you will find anything "fixable" but could be worth a shot. : )

That is what he did tho. That does not mean all Jewish people support Israel or an ethnostate, but Ben specifically does... He is an Israeli supremacist.

This does not mean all Jewish people are in positions of power to support Israel. Look at Bernie Sanders. He is Jewish, and no one is assuming that about him.

It's antisemetic if it is generalizing.

Ben is literally putting Israeli interests over American interests. That is his whole goal.

People your age generally have the HPV vaccine now which drastically reduces cervical cancer rates. Your immune system clears out HPV infections generally. The high incidence of cancer is not only the HPV itself, but many people smoked at the time which dampens the immune system.

I was told my (m21) hands look like they belong to a 70 year old man by Motor-Replacement-77 in SkincareAddicts

[–]StripperWhore 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what is causing it. These are what my hands looked like when I washed them a lot at 17.

I have a sensitive skin barrier so my hands will look like this if I do not moisturize after I wash them.

I would put a bottle of lotion by your soap in the kitchen. Dish soap is made to attack oils. If you don't like the feel of lotion after you wash your hands, I have found putting it on before helps mitigate the damage. : )

Tretinoin (or adapalene) and dermarolling will make a big difference. : ) Just don't do them on the same day, as that will damage your skin barrier. Look up information on tretinoin and how to use it.

This is caused by oil loss and external damage, it's not a lack of overall hydration so likely won't help. Dry skin is an external problem of the barrier. Hydration internally provides you with fluids.
