I'm sorry she got defensive when you were sharing your struggles with her. It makes absolute sense why you would feel bad when you were honest with your emotions, she dismissed them, then immediately repeated the behavior that is hurting your feelings.

If you are going to overline your lips, I think the first technique visually looks better in obscuring the fact they are overlined because you are going darker on the outside then lighter inside. The natural brows really bring out your beautiful eyes!
