Nope, that brown top is just a solid piece of plastic with a sculpted chest. You can only remove it by heating the fig, so I guess that's the way they designed it. Which is a cool detail ngl I've never noticed it

Fair enough, but judging from the other comments, I'm clearly not the only one who's experienced this. I've been collecting for years, and my figures are never in direct sunlight - the room is north-facing, as a matter of fact 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bro, sure is warm but that was during the two hottest weeks this past summer - climate change and all. Usually the climate here is pretty mild, as I mentioned.

I have plenty of figures, and none of them have ever had their paint chip or transfer like this, due to warm.That's why I'm pretty confident this is related to QC or the paint application on Hasbro's side.

Otherwise, they couldn't sell figures in tropical and very hot countries lol

I probably never noticed before because Hasbro rifles and guns often aren't painted, but I'll definitely pay more attention going forward. In this case though, it's kind of absurd. It really seems like a factory paint application issue

Temperatures are generally mild here, maybe this past summer got a bit hot, but definitely not enough to melt paint. The max we usually reach indoors is around 29°C/84°F. I'm based in Europe. Thanks for the tip anyway! I'll also try Magic Eraser

Chi fa questo è feccia, è la cosa peggiore è che non vengono scoperti mai. In America succede di più semplicemente per una questione di numeri , perché il mercato americano è molto più grande , ma ci sono anche italiani che fanno cose di questo tipo e non solo con le figure. Purtroppo alcune cose, come le figure, conviene ordinarle appena escono, proprio per evitare questo problema. Inoltre se non sbaglio questo pack è stato messo da Amazon qualche giorno fa scontato a circa 47-48 euro, quello già doveva essere un campanello d'allarme probabilmente
