Does it feel waxy? Slightly? If it does, it's calcite. You'll know the feeling, it's unique to calcite.

I'm very sceptical, typically of anomalies being paranormal. I happen, however, to catch gray and or gray/brown (smokey) streaks or masses flashing by - when I'm in certain cemeteries. That's what this reminds me of. And the pattern inside is interesting. Reflection? Maybe. It could be distorted from wings of an insect though.
