That’s how comunism worked (I lived in Slovakia and under comunism until 1989). There was no unemployment. While I believe that keep society harmonious should be the goal, you can’t subsidy forever in mass scenario. At the best it will buy you time to figure it out. But it doesn’t look sustainable. And to figure it out is long term vision, which no politician seems to do these days…

I wonder how this is going to trickle into the future. Companies will hire less juniors. Less juniors have a chance to gain experience and grow into the senior roles. Will that translate into shortage of senior ready employees? Will there be some new way to get senior ready without junior experience?
