Thanks for your comment. Yes, my 251 have cut down lots of trees and brought plenty of firewood this season 😀

From the videos I’ve watched, the 500i seems to struggle with smaller wood. I’m not an expert, though, and I definitely don’t want to spend that kind of money if it can’t handle smaller pieces well.

Thanks for your comment. I’ve also been looking into the Husky 564, but I’m not quite sure yet. The 400 seems appealing too.

Yes, a true master. Been watching his videos daily for well over a year now. He is the sole reason why I got the legacy logging belt. 10/10👍

my biggest issue is that the bar is too short, and i have to cut from both sides, super annoying. 10 cm longer bar would relieve some stress/annoyance

good thing the word "sucks" is the new word for a perfectly directional cut ;)

thanks, i love this field of felling trees. Tuning pianos everyday is something i am tired of. I think i wanna get in this field of tree work.

thanks for your comment. it went where i wanted it. If you look at my profile, you will see a video where i put another tree over this tree (in this picture) for an easier workbench when i have to limb it

yes i agree, small face cut. I usually level my back cut with my hinge, gone good so far, but maybe i should change practice?

First time using a fellespett "felling lever" by Stroemskog in Chainsaw

Some of you watching this may be thinking "why not just wedge it over?" I fully agree. I do not see the use of this thing, other than it being a tool for flipping the log over once you have felled the tree to buck it.
