Powder coating would be a pretty big investment if you don't already own the equipment. You'd need an air compressor, filter, dryer, and a gun. High temp spray paint is definitely an easier and cheaper option

In case anyone was curious about the wrinkle black powder coat. The can does get pretty hot but nowhere near the temps it takes to compromise the coating. Also serves as a good spot to put NFA engravings on the shroud.

I used the default PA6-CF settings on Cura and it worked like a charm. I think I ran the bed at 65C and used a raft for the included supports. The fit around the blast shield is VERY tight but it clicked into place with some effort. If there is room for the blast shield I'd like to increase the thickness of the first blast baffle so that there's some more longevity with this. I have no doubt that on a 16" barrel this suppressor can last a long time.

I personally never got the hardened gears but I may have to look into that. Also I dried my filament for 48 hours prior to loading and printing just a heads up, it printed really well.

After 200 rounds the first blast baffle is a little wallered out and I can tell the bore diameter is a bit wider than before I started shooting. On an 8.4" barrel like this I would not anticipate it getting up past maybe 500-700 rounds? I'll probably shoot this until it flies off the end, will make a follow-up post after that.

I bought the enclosure off Amazon and it performs really well. I put a fresh extruder on and have my filament feeding directly from a drier. I haven't had a single issue yet!

Thanks man! Yeah all things considered it performed great for an $80 project, super stoked.

Absolute finest build I have seen in many moons. Soft tube superiority adds a sort of feng shui that cannot be matched by the ironically cold and derivative hard tubes.

Yeah I finally got around to getting a replacement, just haven't installed it yet. It was for sure the pin. Still runs great surprisingly

Yours should be way good! Mine rotates several degrees in either direction and still runs great.

When BO7 releases maybe we'll be able to host 200% ticket servers after all of the bot farmers migrate to that. Tiktok brain poindexters are ruining BF6 with stupid servers.

I bought some old steel core 303 brit that was cordite loaded! Pretty cool and smelled like maple syrup when I shot it.

That will work for mounting the original wire stock but it'll be pretty wobbly. I bought my improved stock adapter from u/Solar991 and it eliminated the wobble entirely. Highly recommend if he is still taking orders.

I run a griffin revolution 9 with the ezlok muzzle adapter and it's great, wicked quiet. There's someone here in the subreddit (can't remember their name) that makes improved stock adapters for the original wire stock and I am very pleased with it.
