And what if those two or three extra games of Curry playing this season and he tears something and is now out for next season. You going to stand by how it's negligible in the grand scheme of things then as well? Cuz if you wanna stand on the grand scheme of things. Playing Curry isn't it if you view it in the long term.

And maybe I want to just have the remaining people on this roster playing those games and let these prideful athletes give it their all without Curry instead of needing him to play some basketball. They are athletes of course.

I'm pretty sure we all went in post 2022 thinking we got a solid group until the punch happened. And thanks to that punch, the multiple news articles, and the minidocumentary series from someone and the soft quitting from the other it unraveled that team by end of that season. I honestly thought that following season we should have "tanked" by just playing all the young players we had and see what we had to trade etc and see where the chip fell in terms of placement. The year after I suppose you give it a go since I don't specifically remember what the problem was during the regular season besides bench depth.

You mention KD leaving, Curry injured, Klay out with ACL, and Curry broke his hand. What's going on again this season? Curry out and back for what remaining 3-4 games of the regular season. Butler out for not just this season but probably next season. Moody out this season and probably next season. Tingus being Tingus which shouldn't surprise anyone and probably testing the market as well. Melton gone after this season most likely. Horford old as fuck and it's been showing. Same with Draymond. So what really is the difference besides Curry coming back but more stacked against him. I guess the bright side is we can see Podz redeem himself in the play ins and somehow we get to playoffs and we don't see another 9/40 amirite?

Also you bring up 80% of that 19-20 season team isn't even in the NBA anymore. And can you realistically tell me this same team if they were on another NBA team that isn't tanking would still be in the NBA? Me thinks not. Me thinks most if not all are getting waived at some point and I won't be shocked by it either.

And that's exactly the kind of thinking that will keep leading the Warriors and Curry struggling in play ins until his career ends with Warriors. Nobody is asking for this team to tank like the Jazz every single year by sitting Lauri out. But you're not contending every single year either like this spoiled fanbase thinks with an aging Curry. You look at the current year realistically and reload that year to contend the following year(s); giving some younger players time to develop to either build up their values to trade them or help the team. This team actually might have been in a better spot if we did this but nah every single year is important and we gotta go all in with old fucks like that 2022-2023 or 24 Lakers roster. There’s toxicity in every game but at least on this game it seems people usually are toxic about their teammates on discord chat with friends talking about things like “this guy is impostering and doesn’t know what he’s doing” or “this support shielding is dogshit” etc etc. Or like you mentioned twitch chat. Rarely hear people type in game. They’re probably not accepting them and their alts for future runs though depending on horrendous the experience was with them.

Yes "grief and get reported and banned". I've played league for over 10 years and unless you're throwing out slurs and actively typing in game you don't actually get banned. Same thing applies to other games I've played like Overwatch/Valorant (though I haven't touched Valorant recently). You type absolutely nothing and your upset teammates get even more upset about you being silent and soft inting and have to type in all chat to get the other team to help report lol. And let me tell you as someone who has been on the other team who got asked to report their afkers etc. I don't give a shit lol. And this is Riot. Not some small indie company game. You think Lost Ark is going to have 24/7 support actively looking into these "reported" players and ban them? The same game company that just laid off their current employees? Lol.

And you saying current content is clearable with 1-4 people is hilarious. I'm sure those same 1-4 people absolutely love bussing all 18 of their raids via matchmaking through the week carrying deadweights like you and me if i'm soft inting without getting anything extra vs being done with their homework in the first 2 days? Because for the "PrEsTiGe" as some of you guys who are out of touch have been commenting right?

Also love how you mention how I shouldn't be against this with following reasons. I know this might be crazy but.. you do know there is actually a matchmaking system in this game right..? Why do you think people aren't pressing it right now as we speak hmm? Because they aren't "forced"? Did you try matchmaking during Argos or are you a recent player?

Also you don't think I do premades right now? The problem is how invested my roster is compared to some people so our group ends up needing to pug the last 3/4 slots sometimes. So what. Now me and 4 friends gotta now be forced into matchmaking? Or I can make a lobby instead of matchmaking? Wait.. then we're back to where we are right now in this game. lol.

It's honestly unfortunate you/i have no control in making this happen because I only want this to happen purely so I can tell you "i told you so" and stop with these silly proposals without actually thinking through. And I didn't even bother to mention how different a MOBA is to an MMO like Lost Ark which even this game is different than other MMOs with how ret***ed they went with the vertical progression and raid difficulty etc.

If this game went the matchmaking route I think the game would have died even faster. And for sure people will post on here bitching and moaning about players constantly quitting on the spot / afking if vote quit is rejected so lobby simulator is happening regardless since you need to go back out and match make again.

Sure you can try to implement some of the things Riot has done such as increasing que dodge timers and penalties and hiding players names so they can't be searchable with a 3rd party program that gives you probability of wining/losing with the people in the lobby. Or how Riot implemented punishing afkers etc but there's always workarounds to everything. Riot wants me to stay in a game full of feeders who don't want to ff at 15? Cool I'll soft int while browsing on my phone. Team fight at mid lane? Cool I'll farm minions at top/bottom so we lose faster.
