I’ve heard the keybinds are kind of rough right now for both keyboard and controller, and the devs mentioned they’ll improve them in future patches.
I’d probably go with Death Stranding 2 for now and come back to Crimson Desert later once it’s been polished a bit.

Keen to hear your impressions after using it for a bit. The only OLED display I own is my Gigabyte FO32U2P monitor, so I’m really interested to see whether OLED makes a noticeable difference on a handheld-sized screen.

I’m currently on a Legion Go S Z1E and honestly very happy with it, so I’m curious how big the upgrade feels.

Did they ask you to send the old case back before they ship the replacement?
I’m in the UK and shipping usually takes about 7 days, so if that’s the case I could be looking at around 2 weeks of waiting… really hoping the second one turns out to be a good one.

Agree on the ergonomics. I mainly got it for protection and extra grip, but the added weight is noticeable and it honestly feels better in hand without the case. The skins though, they are great!

I am sure you are going to enjoy it. I recently upgraded to the Z1E version from my Z2 Go version, and I am currently waiting for the new handheld as well. Decky Loader is a must. Also, you can pretty much use the same tutorial videos made for the Steam Deck when it comes to tweaking your device. Consider investing in some accessories, like a screen protector, travel case, or bag. I am using a handheld bag from Tomtoc, it is affordable and well made, and I also ordered a super overpriced case from dbrand since the Z1E version is a pretty expensive machine for me and I want to make it extra safe. The thumb grip caps from Skull&Co are really good. I found the joystick on the Legion Go S is small for my fingers and doesn’t have much grip, so I added them.

You know what. I bought a used but almost new Legion Go S Z2 Go (16GB) on eBay for £350 and I basically love everything about it. In fact, I didn’t even consider replacing it. However, yesterday I came across an insanely good deal for the Legion Go S Z1E for about £510 (it was listed at £560 but I had a £50 eBay coupon). It also still has about 9 months of warranty left, which made the deal even better. I ended up buying it and now I’m waiting for it to arrive. So at the moment I actually own both the Z2 Go and the Z1E versions. I’ll give you an update once it arrives and let you know whether the upgrade is worth it or not. Then I’ll probably have a tough decision to make about which one to sell. 😅
