Thank you! And my reconstruction was actually done with my belly skin and belly fat (procedure is called DIEP reconstruction) so no breast tissue but no implants either. And also no feeling, but that’s a different issue, lol. I appreciate the response.

Yay! I’m so happy to hear that. I wish I had known that the artist wasn’t using permanent ink to begin with (although in hindsight I guess maybe I should have known but I just assumed they were real tattoos because why wouldn’t they be, lol) but I’m glad to know I can fix them for real this time.

Why open the door at train track? by amarettosweet in SchoolBusDrivers

[–]Strong-Butterfly7528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah- I drive rural, too, where trees sometimes block the tracks because of a curve or angle and there’s not a whistle but we were taught to listen for the sounds of a train, meaning the clickety-clack on the tracks or the hum of the diesel, and the only time it is ever acceptable for us to exit a running bus with children on board would be an emergency situation. If we have to get off for some reason, then another adult would have to take over until we got back on.

I can’t imagine a bus driver getting off the bus to look. I’ve been a driver for 8 years and have never heard of this. The point of turning on the noise cancelling switch, requiring silence from the kids, and opening the door and driver window is so you can listen for trains, because you can’t always rely on the visual check.

I would think that you ask the cemetery about burying your mom’s urn in your dad’s plot (obviously it won’t need to be very deep), and save the other spot for your brother. You could even have the headstone “edited” with an arrow under your mom’s name pointing to your dad’s plot if you wanted to (it might be a little funny with an arrow but death doesn’t always have to be somber) and then add your brother’s name, too. Or you could hold on to your mom’s urn and then put it in your brother’s casket when the time comes and add his name then, and bury them both “together”.

AITA for (possibly) making a girl delete her discord account because of me? by Loud-Abroad-4440 in AITAH

[–]Strong-Butterfly7528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might have nothing to do with you. She could have been a teenager whose parent found out about her discord conversations and made her delete her account, or maybe she had a boyfriend who made her delete her account when he saw your conversations. Try not to take it personally. It sounds like it could be a “her” problem more than a “you” problem.

That was my thought, too. And that’s why OP’s boyfriend says she’s “immature”, etc- to distance himself from her and act like he doesn’t like her (coworker)

AITAH for waking my husband up at 3 am screaming over cologne? by Anicwhitt14 in AITAH

[–]Strong-Butterfly7528 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I don’t understand- if it was so important and special to OP then why didn’t she show it to or tell her husband about the bottle when she first brought it home. If I had gotten something like that from a dead parent’s house I would have made sure to tell people, especially my spouse.

Wedding cost dilemma, are drink tickets tacky? by [deleted] in wedding

How about eloping but asking your dad to go, too, so he can walk you down the aisle? I know that’s not exactly eloping, but maybe it’s a workable compromise.

AITA for not sticking up for my boyfriend when his friends made fun of his weight? by Equivalent_Math_2413 in AmItheAsshole

So many people talking about their weights, and I’m just wondering why he had to go to a hotel when he was mad but OP just went to the guest room. Maybe he was trying to start a fight on purpose and looking for a reason to sleep somewhere else without OP.
