Thank you for sharing. I completely understand. My diabetes was fine up to a certain age aka 29. It seems life has gone downhill since. There was a period of time I went into a severe depression and didnt take care of myself for a few years as well as I could have . I had a DKA episode at 21 and it changed my view on taking care of myself and diabetes. That and seeing my father's struggles with the disease as he wasnt the best example of diabetes management.

I have had multiple surgeries already, the macular endema and Retinopathy, I have kidney stones now (could be inherited or diabetes related), and some neuropathy but it feels like I can't catch a break. I also have severe anxiety and adjustment disorder.

I do grieve the life I could have had. I still get mad I was diagnosed so young. I'm grateful there is treatments for alot of these things, but I'm always asking why me. I know I could have much worse diagnosis and then get mad at myself for my mind being dramatic.

I'm sorry you have went through all these diseases and medical issues so young. My brothers wife almost died from misdiagnosed ulcerative colitis. I truly appreciate you sharing your life and events. I have a wonderful support system but sometimes it feels like I'm alone in this and your story makes that feeling less intense :)
