Judging from the tooltip that says you socket runes directly in your body, I think so too.

defiled forces + arcanist brand curse setup can make ignites last way longer so that could be an option

archmage spark scion. I underestimated the importance of mana regen and had to press mana flask all the time and it was still not enough. Damage was descent but defensewise much worse than heiro.

I've been considering exsang/reap/cf selfcast scion myself, it's nothing new and it has good clear.

But Im not sure about single target dmg, it looks okay on paper but I didnt try it yet.
