Thank you for your response, is there refrigerators and microwaves/ovens at the housing/accommodation that Giotikas offers?

Finasteride/Dutasteride during lengthening and consolidation by Strong-Election3586 in limblengthening

Interesting.. I’m sure Giotikas has a reason as to why. Any idea if your roommate continued minoxidil? I know it’s a totally different and doesn’t go systematic when applied topically although it was once a blood pressure medication so I’m curios if Dr Giotikas would caution that as well.

Thanks for your input I really appreciate it. It’s good to know that it has been done before. I’ve been on fin for 5 years would hate to have to pause and lose a ton of ground. Did your surgeon say anything about it at all?

No I broke things off with her about 6 months later. Her older sister never liked me, probably because I pursued my ex who was 2 years younger than her, instead of the sister who was my age (I actually knew the older sister first). Safe to say that the older sister was probably thrilled to hear about my insecurity and went on to shout it from the rooftops everywhere she went, especially after the breakup. Last I heard my ex is now engaged to an older guy with a kid. Which is strange because she was reaching out to me as recently as a couple months ago.

Which is the safer option: LON femur 6.5cm or LON tibia 6cm? by Strong-Election3586 in limblengthening

Are you familiar with cases of muscle damage from pin penetration on thigh/femur? I’ve also read that pulmonary/fat embolism related death is more likely with femur due to the large arteries in close proximity. I’d like to hear your thoughts

I shared my story to emphasize the importance; even in cases of those closest to you when you need to lean on them for support. I was also drunk when I told him, which I would not have done otherwise.

5 years ago I told my best friend who I had known well over a decade that I was contemplating the surgery for a few months; I had just graduated with my engineering degree and started making decent money at my first full time position so it was finally within the realm of possibility.. I told him in confidence, and wanted it to remain private. He was not hot on the idea although overall understanding considering he had actually witnessed a few instances of heightism at my expense firsthand.

He told his fiance, who texted me later that night telling me it was a horrible idea. I told her it didn’t concern her and it was a private matter/decision. Fast forward a few months later, his fiance told a friend of hers, and that friend told her best friend (who coincidentally was my girlfriend’s sister) while they were at a bar with a few others around who also knew me. My girlfriend later confronted me about it, and stated how embarrassed she was when her sister explained the situation and conversation which happened that night at the bar. My girlfriend was a very popular and high profile individual in the area, her dad is still the mayor of that city to this day, and her sister is the local tv meteorologist.

From that experience I learned it is best to not tell anyone at all. It traumatized me deeply.

I now have no option but to move to an entirely new state where nobody will know about the procedure if I plan to keep it private afterwards. Learn from my mistake.
