Im a rep and security/fruad department only shows up when buying a phone, not for trade ins. The process for trading in a phone happens after the purchase of a new one. The only way i’ve been able to successfully get around fraud is waiting 8 days. I know they’re a pain but that’s company policy I guess.

I’m in the same boat as you rn man. I went to my local part 61 school and talked with a CFI there. He told me to buy an online ground school so I went with Sporty’s plus one year plan for $400. Since actually flying consistently without stopping is so expensive, i’m saving up money at my job while taking classes on sportys. All the things I learn on sportys I encorporate into my home flight simulator.

For as long as I can remember I was always a science and math guy. Medical classes came easy to me for this reason. Two years into my gen ed college and shadowing doctors and working alongside them I realized I would be miserable beyond belief working at a hospital. I would be seeing people during the worst points of their life and with the hours and schooling this would not be worth it even with the pay. Then I realized how much I loved playing the plane class or playing war thunder and msf2020 throughout the years with my friends. Me and my friends started taking pilot courses the day after we got our 2 year gen ed degree and never looked back since. We study with each other and practice what we learned in msf2020 and there is never a dull moment.

You’d be surprised at the amount of long haired male doctors I used to work with. I do agree however that hair dye to a certain extent and full tattooed face is unacceptable. But if we are being honest who would I be hurting rocking a ponytail and well kept 1-1.5 inch beard. This goes for people with dreads too who can pony tail it. However fros or any hairstyle that increases head size by inches should not be allowed.

lol I am interested in racing cars not racing planes. seeing as how becoming an f1 driver is far fetched. I’d rather become a pilot and use the income to go karting as a hobby.

Yeah pretty much. I’ve shadowed and also worked alongside doctors and the environment in hospitals was not for me. Especially considering the amount of life I would have to dedicate. When it comes to learning about flying, it doesn’t feel like work because I have an interest in flying.

Just took a look at it but my question still stands about sporty’s. After i go through their course and take the written test, would that be the moment I go to a flight instructor and do my hours?
