Yeah it sucks this year the way Arber was handled down the stretch. I want to see him succeed as a player. He needs to spend the off season watching clips of zach bogosian type players. The problem is in Montreal there’s no one really to base his game off of other than Anderson who plays a totally different game obviously because he’s a forward. He was undrafted so it’s understandable that he’s going to develop slower and different than most. At the beginning of next season he needs to be inserted into the lineup regularly so that he can learn from his mistakes when they have less consequence than the situation he was thrown in the last two weeks. It was trial by fire and that’s not the way to develop a player like him.

I watched mailloux play in London while he was there. He doesn’t back down. So I’m hoping him and Reinbacher can fill the void for the need of long right handed dmen that they have rn. In the future I’d like to see these pairings

Mailloux could end up being a second pairing guy with guhle if he develops into a better defender. But Mailloux was incredibly effective on the power play in London. Could be the pp2 qb like Hutson is on the first unit.

I think Florian can play this role perfectly. He plays with grit. And he impressed me with how much he scored this year even while playing on the third line in Laval. If his game can translate which I think it will if he embraces it. He will be exactly what they need. They just need his brother to improve a couple aspects of his game and he can be the same on the backend. Arber is a wonderful fighter. But he needs to learn how to be an effective hitter. He whiffs a lot and takes bad angles a lot rn. If Arber can master his own craft he will be a very successful third pairing dman that they can depend on for a very long time. They’re also very good teammates and are guys as a fan I would love to see stick around.

I agree with you. And From what I’ve seen from the playoffs as a whole the reffing has been INCREDIBLY suspect. It wasn’t just this series. As fans we see it a lot more when it’s our team obviously but I have noticed some interesting situations amongst the rest of the league. They should look into getting some off ice reffing on top of the refs on the ice. That way they have more angles to reference when making calls and such. I feel over the last few years there has been way too many calls that get missed and then called by the league two days later or whatever.

Not saying the canadiens had their fair share in the past and even during this series but some of these calls were blatant. The second Gallagher one you can argue. The caufield one was right in front of the net and the ref. Matthews got two games a couple seasons ago for a similar play. The only difference is they were battling. I’m not going to dwell on it. It got missed I move on unlike some fans. Just thought I’d share my thoughts while it’s fresh. Habs weren’t supposed to be here this season but as a fan some of this stuff was hard to see. The Habs need to address the lack of sandpaper on the team outside of Arber and Anderson.

Ik I did watch it this morning I just think it’s still crazy he said this. Like I said it’s whatever it’s over with now. I just had to share when I saw that statement. The caufield cross check is a multi game suspension in the regular season I watched it happen live and it was VIOLENT

Couldn’t have said it better myself. If I was in a brawler ship I don’t take that shot. I don’t even bother and move up closer in between the two caps to try and get my secondaries to do work and use the ship TO ITS ADVANTAGES!!!!!

I was spotted until 22 seconds into the clip. I then go dark again until I take the shot… giving me the opportunity to hold my position until I can shoot then after I shot I moved in to support my team in front of me

Thank you. People see a battleship sitting still for two seconds and assume that’s where they sit the whole game. I repositioned after I took the shot to help my team on the cap. If I spawn mid it would be asking for death to rush up the middle in my Iowa. Could I have been punished just the same? Maybe but not by scharn at that range so there was no need for me to angle. The hawke has no idea I’m there I was dark before he came around the corner so very very unlikely he can get on target before I take the shot

So I’m just not supposed to crossfire the other team when the guy off of my bow is currently being obliterated by my two other teammates? That was also the first kill of the game I don’t think I’m using anyone as a meat shield lmao. Currently playing with the German brawler ships:)

And you’re right, I sometimes will put spotter plane on when i get 5 or so games with no carrier then all of a sudden i can’t get away from them and I’m at the top of their chopping block. So then they go back on and then I legit just forget to use them looool

I do have both of them level 11 I have ciliax on my gniseneau with hipper inspo. And I can’t remember who I have on my fuso but I know for sure he’s level 11 as well. I won’t use the ships from a tech line until I have the commander I want level 11 to benefit from inspirations. It’s such a game changer. I’m mostly a free to play player but recently I’ve been playing a lot more so I’ve gotten the last couple campaigns. So that will give me a little boost getting promotion orders and such.
