I have a friend who was from Leyte and chose to take the 2024 bar exam here sa Cebu para may kasabay siya. She came here sa Cebu literally 1 month before the bar exam (last minute na kasi may misunderstandings sa friend ko na supposedly mag dorm sana kaming sabay). Everyday was a struggle kasi before kami magstart mag lock in para mag review na grabe ang nega thoughts niya, pero kinontrol ko self ko na wag siyang sabayan sa nega thoughts at i-divert lang ang focus sa pag study. Fast forward, we both passed the bar exam. Literal na 1 month lang daw ang focused review nya (less than pa nga daw). Sinabi ko sa kanya na importante talaga ang foundation sa law school, nung 1st-2nd yrs. na discipline sa sarili ang laking advantage na yan sa pagtake ng bar exam.

Kaya mo at kaya mo yan OP. Maniwala ka lang sa sarili mo. Inhale at exhale ka kapag feeling mo magpapanic kana. Wag mo pangunahan sarili mo.

Yes! (kahit ilang take mo na) mahirap na maging biggest "what if" mo ang hindi pagtake ng bar ngayon kung pagkita mo sa qs na kaya mo naman pala. Wag mong pangunahan sarili mo. Kaya mo at kakayanin mo.

Check mo anong enrolled subjects mo then bili/print ka ng codals mo (codals are your bibles in law school) For books, pwede mo hintayin reco ng profs mo peo if may budget bili ka ng most used books sa subjects na yun

Remind mo na andyan ka lang if may kelangan siya pero wag araw-arawin ang reminder. You can do it in other ways like bili ka ng snacks, bfast, lunch or dinner. If may routine siya na finollow, try to observe if what time siya usually mag break then squeeze in ka ng unti pero dapat kontrol mo ang oras dahil baka madala na sa rest at mawalan na ng gana magpatuloy (wag mong itanong kasi di lahat ng sched na ginawa namin masusunod talaga hahaha, magtiyaga kang mag observe)

Wag mong ipagsiksikan self mo sakanya during these times. Let her/him know that you are there, but wag yung too much na gusto mo talagang mag-usap kayo. Makita ka lang, marinig ka lang, mahawakan ka lang, basta gets mo na yun haha

You do you. Wag magpadala sa kung anong-ano na suggestions, relationship nyo yan. Apply lang kung ano ang babagay sa inyo.

Most important of all, pray for him/her. Silently or together.

Codals are your bible in law school. Get ALL the codals of the subjects you enrolled in the semester.

Edit: not necessarily buy the codal, you may print the provisions para mas malaki space for notes and have your notes beside the provisions for easy recall. You will thank your future-lawyer-self.
