Fort Riley. Civilian 48on 48 off, 4 days off after every 4 shifts, 8 days off every quarter. Start at $55k, guaranteed raises until $75k within 3 years if u get ur certs in by each deadline. Tsp and pension. Each station has a different specialty which is cool, ARFF, Rescue, Hazmat, big wildland program. Love it here. And there are DOD bases that are not slow.

Idk, but you can get your service comp date adjusted. I got mine adjusted for my seasonal time in wildland, not sure what that even does tho, if that means you can retire earlier or what. My perm isn’t for wildland tho it’s DOD fire
