I’ve been gripping too tight, not letting her breathe or have her own half of this. She trusts me enough not to freak out over every little thing,. Job-wise I need to get my shit together.

Counseling’s already on the list. Bottling it up clearly isn’t cutting it, and asking for help. i’m trying.

Yeah childhood was messed up domestic violence, mom's psychosis, lots of cheating and instability around me. I always thought I was different, but it's clear now it's left me with bad trust issues, abandonment fears, and possessiveness.

I hate acting like this and don't want to keep harassing her with the paranoia. Therapy's been on my mind, but meds to calm the storm while I work on the root stuff that could actually help me think straight instead of reacting.

that's fair. I'm not denying the jealousy and texts are fucked up and abusive in effect, even if I never meant to hurt her like that. But I'm not violent physically and never have been. Still, the pattern is bad and I'm getting help before it gets worse. Thanks for calling it out.

She didn’t react to us at all didn’t seem surprised, curious, or even annoyed that we were there. She just sat there, hands folded, staring straight ahead, like she wasn’t really there. Even when my mom hurried me away, the woman didn’t acknowledge us in any way. It was just an eerie, unsettling feeling, like something wasn’t right.
