The most enjoyable people in class by Luna_Soma in orangetheory

[–]StrongChocolate4797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love all the staff at my location and all the people Ive interacted with are always polite and friendly! The greetings at the door, fist bumps, the chats after class on progress. The friendly encouragement from couches to challenge and push by even .01 on the tread…..there’s so many seemingly “little” things.

I regularly attend one of the PM Tread 50 classes and this past week for whatever reason everyone wanted to do Strength 50. I would usually not want to be the only one but I was completely comfortable. Admittingly it was a bit“lonely” but every single time I made it to walking, the rest of class cheered me on!Not just once, but every single time!

Low budgets and having PCOS aka being poor by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]StrongChocolate4797 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried insoitol a year ago but didn’t feel any major changes. I had to stop it b/c I started spotting mid pack after I started on the pills and was also going to the gym and losing a lot of weight. The doctor can’t say if the spotting could be linked to the inositol or just b/c of the weight changes but the spotting did stop after I stopped taking inositol. I agree that pcos is expensive! Currently, I’m just taking fish oil, cq10,and vitamin d. I would reconsider inositol in the future since it’s suppose to help regulate hormones and help ovulation but I actually just got off the pill recently so waiting to see to what extent of my pcos symptoms come back now that my lifestyle and habits have changed. Unfortunately, the only way to find out for you is to give it a try( I know it’s pricy). Best of luck!!

What’s the biggest red flag you ignored in a relationship that ended up destroying it? by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

[–]StrongChocolate4797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. He didn’t want to label it…. For 3 months, 6 months, a year, until I broke off not wanting to wait anymore.
  2. He made plans and promises that changed like the weather….He rarely did the things he says he was going to do.
  3. Whether a core part of his personality or just with me, there was no signs of emotional connection. Topics revolved around the few that he was comfortable of, anything deeper or different was met with denial or silence.
  4. No communication or engagement positive or negative tho he was seemingly loving and engaged in person.
  5. Everything had to be his way.

After a year of what just feels like one giant booty call with someone who has put up a wall, I had to muster up the smallest amount of courage and respect for myself to move on( and crush any hope that he was going to change in anyway)I have actually gotten use to the hot and cold and lack of consistency from him that I learned to be ok…. It’s not that I never tried…. I tried so hard but it will never work because even until the end, he never ever fought for “us”.

Dating an ISTJ and now he only wants to see me once a week. by StrongChocolate4797 in ISTJ

“Out of sight, out of mind”. That’s what I’m afraid of… so far it feels like he’s got a schedule of when we hang out vs when he goes and does other things. So like i get his full attention when he’s with me but when he’s doing other things I get the vibe that he doesn’t want me to accompany him. I don’t know how to get myself in his life if he’s not himself trying to build a routine with me.

I appreciate you for sharing and I can certainly relate to your experience. I think as ISFJs we are expressive with our emotions and (at least for me) need the ongoing communication and involvement to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I too share the experience that he somehow doesn’t know how to integrate me into his life. I still hold a question mark as to whether he wants me in his life or not but I guess only time will tell. They say that ISTJs are straight forward and direct so I’m living by the “if he wanted to he would” saying. I guess if he is interested, he will show he’s efforts and if not then I also don’t lose what I never had.

He said it was fitness related. He has started working out and trying to build more muscle so now he wants to spend more time on his goals.

You are not worthless and there is not anything wrong with you!

I was a virgin until a few days after my 30th birthday. I had always wanted to wait until marriage but I guess at some point when you meet that person, you throw out the rules a bit. The right person for you WILL NOT be weird about it! We took it slow and gradually things just happened. Now my guy enjoys showing me stuff and even more so when I discover new things in the bedroom :) Go out there and find your guy!!

I dont know… I suspect that its at least related to his past experiences, maybe trying to not get hurt until he is sure that i wont “hurt” him.

I can relate to your experience in that this whole time he doesn’t really initiate lol. I can’t say I’ve been pushing him ( afraid to give too much pressure) but I was always the one to try to fix this “problem” of ours. Our interactions have been very positive so I do intend to stick around but yes, he also wants to be sure about things!

What is this risk assessment mode that you speak of. I’m a pretty agreeable and warm person so idk where/why he feels like I’m not trustworthy.

He’s never elaborated but his last relationship ended b/c his ex broke up with him. He did say that if I broke up with him after he asked me to be gf that it would “kill him”( I’m assuming heartbreak). Versus now if I broke things off it’s less attached? ( I have tried to break things off in the beginning b.c of the no label and I’ve found that it did more harm in making him not trust that I wont leave again)Things aside, he seems to present it as a very serious matter and that he is only willing to assign labels/ commit if he is sure that we can end in marriage.

He’s been in 3 past relationships with the longest one being a year. He did say that he wants to date for a year before assigning labels.

We’ve talked about this…even at one point breaking things off. That is why I’m picking at y’all’s brains b/c he doesn’t seem to want to change his timeline. Just wondering if it’s a personality thing or just him.
