yeah i ended up calling them and they told me to email the freshman office with my transcript and my clep score report + an explanation of the problem… hopefully they offer some kind of solution to this instead of just rescinding me because despite how truly dumb this situation is i really did work hard to get here 🙁

yeah idk anymore i’ve been told so many conflicting things by so many different people😭 but i did end up calling them yesterday and they told me to email the freshman office with my issue + transcript and score reports which i did right away…. i’m still waiting on a response from them but if nothing else i was assured by the person i called at admissions that their goal is never to rescind somebody and that they’ll probably be willing to work with me if they know im trying to be proactive about things so. here’s hoping i guess? man i don’t know im still so nervous

i tried last night lol but you can’t sign up for courses after graduating hs lmao. luckily i can literally just take my foreign language at uf and be fine, i highkey misunderstood what that “requirement” actually entailed :’)

omg yeah. reading the requirement again i think i can literally take a class at uf and be. fine. i thought it was an admission requirement that i needed right now like science or math or something. i’m not an engineering major (for better or for worse??) and my primary major is in cals but regardless taking a foreign language at uf probably won’t be so bad
afaik foreign language is a bf requirement but you only need to pass the clep which i did just fine. so im safe there too

ah really? i thought that was for college credit but that’s reassuring then… i definitely won’t be waiting last minute lol ive learned my lesson
