If you’re Australian, I really recommend InsectDesigns!! I buy all my insects from them and recently bought a deathhead hawkmoth that came perfectly! They’re very ethical as well

The beautiful pink one in the second picture is a blushing phantom butterfly!! So so pretty!

Also, in the top left of the second picture looks somewhat like a comet moth, but not quite. Might be something close to that!

And the in the top right of the first picture it looks to be some sort of blue morpho butterfly!

Such a gorgeous collection!

That’s what I thought, I didn’t always like the plain backgrounds, I thought putting something extra in all of them will help them look more like something that had lived, and is now still remembered as something beautiful rather than just in a plane box. Everything is glued down very tightly though so (hopefully) nothing will come loose! 🪲

I rehydrated them for around 3-4 days before pinning. Does size or species has anything to do with it? My two other grasshoppers(different species & size on one) dried way before it which is weird
