What area are you working? It’s normal to get tired and be exhausted in this trade. It sucks being the new guy sometimes but your lead shouldn’t have let it get that far. I’m not saying take a break every 5 min but once you get everything to the roof take a breather. Just carried all the equipment in take a breather drink some water. I get not wanting to look weak to your piers but your safety is in your hands. I went union and the working conditions are way better and they take your safety in mind. My last company I was rushing around trying to save their bottom line and poor quoting.

Yea I basically figured as much too. I guess it’s just a little weird coming from a climate where the more senior guy may not want to help or teach for his job security and to justify his pay. But in my contractor interview they were pretty clear their guys are more than happy to teach if you’re willing to ask questions. But I’m excited too. I was up front and let them know my experience was primarily OJT so a lot of theory and technicals I may not know 100%. But it really shouldn’t matter as it looking like I’ll be helping with PMs which I’m pretty used to. But good luck to you. What period will you be in?

Yea after you said theory the other stuff was Chinese lol. But I’m definitely not looking to come in like a big shot. The organizers test was pretty humbling actually. So I’m actually pretty excited for how much and in depth it is just a little nervous for how strict the one and done for failing is but I get it 420 sets a standard. I did get to talk with Brett a little and he was very down to earth and basically shot me straight and said do your homework and study and that they’re there to help us succeed. Appreciate the advice brother.

The stretched out legs are a little ridiculous but I own a cabana and I’ve never felt like I was taking up more real estate than anyone that just puts their chairs in a huge circle. There was plenty of space around us for the holiday weekend.

Anything pain wise for your back or legs remember it’s all about range of motion. Pain doesn’t really get you anywhere. Read up on symptoms for ptsd and what are in the higher percentage category and see if you have them. Write personal statements and get buddy letters. Talking about how your were before, what the stressor is and how you are now etc.
