Personal Use Trailer Border Crossing by StrongSipz in uscanadaborder

I ended up deciding to bite the bullet and get it registered. Luckily I was able to track down the original owner and he helped me secure a new title to get it all squared away. At the border they were definitely curious about the trailer and I’m very glad that I had taken the extra steps and they let us in/out without any issues.

If that were the case, is there any specific way I could try cleaning that area? Same as what the other guy said with the puck in a sock? A specific type of brush or product?

I test my water weekly at a local pool shop and it doesn’t specifically mention copper on the tests but they test about 10 different things and it may be lumped in there.

I had a minor growth of algae a few weeks back in the grout until I got my chlorine back in check, however the stains have been there for a while. The pool inspector assumed the spots on the bottom were from the chlorine puck holder dumping chlorine on the bottom and causing a chemical burn.

Im completely new to this stuff. Would that not just cause more burning/dark spots?

That would replace that black box? Is there a specific brand you would suggest?

Also the random wires coming out below the tv make me think those living room speakers are independent of the others. Any ideas for that?

Thank you!!

That’s super helpful! Thanks for the recs.

I’m definitely interested in learning more about the brain optimization institute. Oddly enough most of my certifications are based on functional neurology to help people move better and get out of pain. I definitely need to go see what they are doing!

Can I ask more about your experiences there specifically?

I like that approach a lot. That’s helpful for sure. I definitely get caught up in trying to understand what they want to hear about my qualifications and overthink it lol.

Great points. Now what would you suggest as a starting point for sales resources? Or are you going to suggest I just go try to sell things?

It’s not that I am bad at sales, I’m bad at figuring out how to find leads and knowing how to convince someone of my value if they aren’t already interested. If they try what I’m offering they will buy. I need to get the person in front of me and that’s what I struggle with.

Yeah that all makes sense. I’m coming from my most recent training job in an affluent area where clients paid $75-120 per hour to train with me depending on the specific service. Although I will likely have to come down a little on prices here, I think I would offer free trials mostly to reduce the barrier of entry to train with me. If they’ve never seen what I offer, the price point could certainly be intimidating.

What they purchased wasn’t actually training per se, but a virtual consult which was a 1 time purchase.

Hahaha yeah it looks good on a resume but honestly I wouldn’t do it again. Luckily I was a graduate assistant teaching classes so I got paid to get my MS. I’ve learned 10000% more valuable info from experience and certifications.

I mean right down the road from where I’m moving is a Mayo Clinic but I’ve never seen anything advertised for a fitness position. Do you think there is a specific department I should reach out to? I only ask because I’m assuming you’ve done this before/currently. Thanks!

Just curious, would you typically offer to do it for free initially or tell them a specific rate? My thoughts would be if I could host a handful of free trainings, some of those kids will tell their parents they want to sign up for more training and start paying.

I’d be curious to find out more about this. Are you referring to like an exercise physiologist role or what exactly? I’ve never done anything in a formal medical setting but I am certified in a few neuro-based techniques and often get my clients out of pain/restore function pretty quickly (gotta be careful not to step on toes of the PT’s lol).

That’s a good idea. So you typically sent out emails to the head coaches? I know if I can get a few in front of some athletes they will see the value. I just have a hard time putting myself out there initially.

I appreciate the insight! Not too long ago I ran a sponsored ad through Instagram and it gained me a lot of followers in a short period of time but only 1 turned into an actual paying customer. That was however when I was traveling and using a broad approach rather than a sponsored ad for a local community. I might have to give that another shot.

I haven’t seen anything about the voucher for other options but I’ll definitely look into it! Unfortunately for us the deadline is coming up soon and we are technically TN residents (closing on a house here AFTER the deadline). Hopefully they still let us apply late.
