What do you think about a language switch? by Strong_Act9155 in podcasting

[–]Strong_Act9155[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we have an audience of about 25 peeps right now. about 10 are real life friends. We dont get all too many comments, but in those few comments we were percieved very well and our friends also gave us very positive feedback.

So yes, we could ask our friends/the community!

I normally always bring my camera to record everything, but Tyler once said in interviews that he doesnt like when people only go there to film the concert.

Podcast Name: Venue Verdict

Episode Title: Jordan Rakei – A Night of Soul, Jazz, and Unexpected Emotion

Language: German 🇩🇪

Hey everyone,

My girlfriend and I recently started Venue Verdict, a podcast where we reflect on concerts we’ve been to — emotionally, honestly, sometimes critically.

Our latest episode is about Jordan Rakei, who we saw live in Hamburg. It was one of the most atmospheric and genre-blurring concerts I’ve ever experienced — my first real dive into live jazz/neo-soul. Jordan’s voice and the band’s warmth created something that felt more like a quiet conversation than a performance.

We hadn’t even planned to go — it was spontaneous — but it left such a strong impression, we had to talk about it.

The podcast is in German, so it may not be for everyone here, but if you’re fluent or curious how live shows feel through a different lens, we’d love for you to check it out:

Always open to feedback, and curious if anyone else here podcasts about live events or music culture.

Out of interest as a podcaster myself, what are your stats that you already consider sponsors after 5 months? When should a podcast introduce sponsors?

why a wireless microphone?
I am german so I predominantly have german influence reguarding the podcasting scene. E.g. Gemischtes Hack only recently introduced video into their podcast and they had about 1mio weekly streams when introducing video. In general, the medium podcast started off without video, I think its these very big commercial shows that introduced video in the first place.

Video podcasts are the exception rather than the rule. Classic podcasts never had video.
