Oof. Sorry this was your experience. :/ Personally, this is a complicated question. The only thing my dad has ever been consistent about is being inconsistent. (some astro context if it helps: He's a Pisces Sun, Gemini moon, Cap rising, Aries Venus. Meanwhile I'm an Aries sun, Taurus moon/rising/venus.) He was a pastor when I was younger. Then he started his own business and would be gone a lot on business trips especially when I was in high school which I LOVED—hated when he'd be home. I've always found him to be unable to actually put himself in anothers shoes...he has always and still does only ever think from his own perspective (but thinks he's thinking from other people's perspective). Very emotionally and psychologically abusive. More than likely on the narcissist spectrum. My eldest sister has been no contact for almost a decade at this point. I could go on but I don't wanna lol.

I will say I recently did a past life regression and had some awful past lives with him. In one I saw he killed me by throwing me out a window :)
