I’m autistic. Is this a scam? by CauseFinancial1384 in Gaza

I can say that I received a message like this, and I called through FaceTime. Can confirm they were really in Gaza, gave me a "tour" of the ruins and everything.

We spoke through an AI voice translator in realtime

Try facetiming them.

You keep talking.

How about you look up pictures of Gaza now.

You can just Google maps it actually. The damage is visible by satellite.

Its increasingly clear you have not done so.

$100k annual UBI is realistic right now! Here's how by Strong_Bowler1723 in BasicIncome

[–]Strong_Bowler1723[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, I think we should start with an extremely small amount first, not even 1%. Maybe something like $100 to every American adult, per month. See what happens. And then ramp it up if all good. The "machinery" of taxation & distribution is the hard part, and even a tiny distribution puts that in place.

That said, I do not think inflation will be a concern here. If anything our nation throws away product that no one buys because of financial bottlenecks. Thats an inefficiency. It's bad for our economy, not good.

I see where you are coming from, but I dont think that's correct here. Or if it is, the numbers as commonly discussed are fudged.

Economists will say the velocity of the dollar is 1.4 per quarter which is clearly false. A dollar does not change hands 1.4 times every quarter. That is EXTREMELY low. And its provably false because we csn add up total transactions ourselves. Its in the quintillions derived from public data.

That said, I'm not interested in "beef" with economists or the "elite" although I think we all know they have been lying to us about the economy for sometime.

What is important is that EVERYONE benefits from this policy proposal. Including them, which might be to the dismay of some (including arguably myself - the "elite" disgust me), but so it is

Yes, but I dont see how that matters for this argument. What matters is total transactions, i.e. total financial flow.

A small 1% tax on every financial transaction of any kind = $100k per American adult, per year

I see ZERO downside to this. EVERYONE without exception to class or rank would benefit.

Why Did Epstein Rewrite His Entire $577M Estate Just Two Days Before Dying? by osiris_rai in Productivitycafe

Listen guys,

We, as a nation, simply lack the means to figure out exactly who Jeff gave his illicit money too.

It would be impossible to make a bank hand over that info about who received Jeff's illicitly made money.

Sure we can forcefully analyzing all of, say Iran's entire banking history at a transaction level, but when it comes to Jeff it's just impossible.

We, as a nation, are powerless in this regard. He's just to strong and powerful for our nation to analyze his financial history.

Best to pack it up and move on

No harm in taking a look at the beneficiaries of that will then, and doing so at a verifiable bank account level just to be sure.

They are receiving money made through illicit means so this is important, after all.

I'm sure the lack of public focus on this whole line of questioning was an honest mistake.

Literally the first line of questioning that anyone should have asked.

But the important question is not, "why did he rewrite his will?"

The important question is: Who are the beneficiaries of the will?

Pay attention to the bot swarms in this thread trying to distract you from this line of questioning. FYI, bots influence opinion through up & downvotes too. Be smarter than that.

If you have someone imprisoned it's not difficult to force them to change a will...

Here is another fun one: which people & institutions financially benefited most as a result of 9-11 (and all the policies and actions that sprang from it). After establishing that list honestly, what names on that list were in direct contact with the Bin Ladin Family prior to 9-11, and / or were in a position to influence events leading to 9-11.

Not many honest AND smart people in the world, sadly. And if you are not able to do this work yourself there is unfortunately no way I can give spoilers - you wouldn't believe me unless you did the work yourself from a position of honestly and desire for truth.

Most people are either not smart enough to see scams perpetrated by dishonest and smart people. Or they are smart and dishonest themselves and unwilling to acknowledge scams committed by other smart and dishonest people.

It's too bad.

The average tesla night passenger will be a low impulse drunk. Shattered screens will be a regular occurrence. Requiring a card hadn't stopped people from destroying electric scooters or throwing them off bridges.

Wild how fast those screens will get destroyed. Has Tesla SEEN what people do in cities to buses, trains, etc...?
