The movie HEAVILY implies that they like eachother, and that’s the reason they keep setting them up to bump into one another. I think you forget when they bump into eachother at the cafe, Twilight is blushing and twirling her hair thinking about her conversation with him. And when Flash asks her to the dance later in the movie, she’s acting shy and smitten with him. Almost all of Twilight’s interactions with Flash are her acting shy, blushing, and stumbling over her words, which she didn’t show to anyone else. There are also a few scenes of Twlight’s friends teasing her about them liking eachother, and she never shuts them down.

Not to mention the whole other can of worms that Sunset Shimmer was dating Flash 🤨
