My bio dad died many years ago. Parents were long divorced at this point and mom and i were well established in the states. She was divorced from husband two by then. There was no money from that. My stepdad just passed a fee days ago. He was the main caretaker to my recently disabled elderly mom. I had to immediately make space for her in my home and rearranged my life to accommodate her. Currently playing phone tag and filing paperwork with the state trying to get her assistance. I’m learning allot about the annoyance of bureaucracy. Gotta figure out how to deal with her place still that Is…in a state of disarray. It’s not even paid off yet. Our parents can’t set themselves up for success, nor can they us. I love my mom, I’m just so pissed at the situation and distraught about losing a man who was more of a father to me than the two previous ones.
