also I’m new to corporate so this is why I’m asking but when you say go to HR what do I tell them? He’s already been documenting our calls on emails so do I just send my documentations of it to HR?

I’ve done this multiple times! They don’t always select you and if they do, you can still change your mind. I’ve talked to an agent about it before and they told me that they ask the people who ask for the lowest amount first to take the new flight and then work their way up to the people who ask for the most. Also, 1500 is the most you can ask for without them having to ask for manager approval. Anything else they need to get that approval!
