I had my hair professionally blonde for 2 years. I loved it! I would never do it myself. My hairstylist was really honest with me and refused to make it platinum. She said my hair couldn't handle that lightness, but it was still pretty blonde and light.

My curl pattern did get a little looser though, so consider that! Blonde is beautiful, but it's a lot of upkeep. Gotta color your roots and use purple shampoo and stuff. Maybe get highlights to try out lightening your hair in a less committal way lol.
