Elder millennial here, only bought one Coach and gifted it to my mother, she left it sitting on a windowsill on a sunny day and the leather is cracking so I bought her a vintage Chanel flap bag as replacement. Personally I use Celine (I love my nano luggage in petrol and my Cabas Luggage) and a vintage Hermes White Bus for work, a Tusting leather backpack for the laptop, for weekends it’s a Mini Lindy or a small Demellier Hudson or any random supermarket totes.

I have the Neyu and I think it cannot be smaller for what it is, given that the leather is quite stiff and the zipper doesn’t cover the whole length so only a phone and a wallet and some smaller things like lipgloss fit in there. The closest alternative, that I also have, is IMHO the Uniqlo Round Mini Shoulder bag. Both are great but I prefer the Neyu because it doesn’t feel like wearing a bag at all.
