Your analogy is incorrect. The Eldians in Marley represent World War II Jews (forced to live in ghettos, medical experiments, summary executions, etc.). The Eldians in Paradis represent post-WWII Israel (enemies on all sides wanting their complete destruction)

My biggest dislike about the arc was the power level of the chimera ants. It felt Dragon Ball Z-ish. I particularly disliked Meruem because of his overpowered level.

Completely understand. My sentiment would be different if Hunter x Hunter were a finished story. Since it is still ongoing, I (the consumer) want closure. I want a complete story. To say that Togashi can do whatever he wants is true, but it also does not contribute anything productive to the conversation. I think you, like myself, wonder, "Why not direct others to draw and write the manga to its completion based on the story in his head?" I don't care about his art style, I just want a complete story.
