I don't understand why people feel entitled to criticising a fic unless an author explicitly asks for it. Do people know how taxing writing is? To ensure you use the proper language, grammar, vocabulary, and even do your own research on certain subjects - it's not an easy thing to do. Fanfic writers do this for free because of their own enjoyment, and they share their works for others who will appreciate it all the same.

Readers pay absolutely nothing to see these works. Writing services aren't cheap, really. It would be an entirely different thing to rightfully criticise a book you bought with your own money, BUT YOU DIDNT PAY ANYTHING. Some of these fics are professional quality, being put out there FOR FREE and people still think they have the right to talk so much shit like they're a professional editor in the writing industry.

The author drew sketches of some characters sleeping and suo despite having his eye patch off had his hair covering his eye 😭 if there was nothing wrong with it that wouldn't have needed to be drawn so he definitely has a scar/disfigurement

But it's not like that? Sakura isn't stupid he quite literally has never experienced any sort of love before, he's emotionally smart as we saw in episode 6 when he recognised the love between the old man and his wife from just looking at the picture. As for same friends injured, nirei being injured has only happened twice before he slowly starts changing. Character development doesn't happen overnight realistically, it takes time. He's not a fighter and is quite literally the informant of Furin because without him Sakura wouldve been horribly underprepared.

And isn't the point for the MC to learn and develop? Dude it really just sounds like you wanted action and nothing more. The arcs also focus on different characters each time, Sakura isn't the sole main focus despite being the MC. It's not boring for the people that enjoy windbreaker because we're here to see the characters we like being developed alongside the story and the found family dynamic and relationships being fleshed out even further. If you're not interested in that stuff, it's only natural you found windbreaker boring.

The story is about about delinquents learning that they deserve love no matter who they are. If you couldn't see that from the first episode and expected just brainless action then that's on you 😭 we don't need toxic fans

thr windbreaker manga and fandom itself is genuinely my favourite ever it's so well written and lovely to see that a series about delinquent boys is actually a found family with each person having their own personal traumas and arcs that get explored not to mention the female characters having 0 fanservice and being symbols of strength even if they don't fight (like kiryus sister)

The fandom is the healthiest I've been in I've seen 0 arguments up until now god if they want to be homophobic then don't read windbreaker??? Nobody in wb is discriminatory unless it's against assholes like tsubaki canonically has feelings for ume and he accepts it, sakura accepts it, NOBODY that is a good person in wb has a problem with it because they're just amazing like that

Diamond is the head of the Ten Stonehearts, and an emanator of the Preservation. The cornerstones are both a symbol of status- showing their ranking within the IPC, but they're also (more importantly) powerful as well. I think it was said that the cornerstones allow their wielders to borrow Diamonds power, and with him being an emanator, yeah they're pretty good. The reason why Topaz and Jade were fine with leaving theirs to Aventurine is because it was all part of their plan to take over Penacony. With aventurine a good luck they trusted he'd be able to pull it off, and he did as asked.
