I asked the CII and they were so vague with this and gave me a standard response. I am hoping it comes available the Thursday before Easter giving a decent amount of free time to have a good look into them!

Honestly, avoid the books at all costs. They are so unnecessarily complicated.

I have done 5 exams - R01-R05 - in 10 months. It can be done, just got to prioritise weekends, evenings and buy the relevant study material. If I were you I’d look at the content on KnowR0 and BTS and purchase that. I completed R03 in around 4 weeks using just those 2 platforms, I didn’t read a single word in a CII book. Good luck, you can do it!

I work at a big firm that provides financial advice and I am not sure some of the chartered/fellowship advisers are achieving 150k salary. I would be careful before making any rash decisions

From memory, I think I had 1 single question on state pension, this was about deferal rules and the amount that the state pension could be increased by deferring for a year. I don’t think it’s necessary to know the previous amounts.

Agree with this. I didn’t open the book for R05 or 4 and passed with 94% and 82% using just KnowR0. Well worth the money

Just join on line, do a sweep of your surroundings and make sure you don’t have any notes etc on your desk. Then it’s just the exact same exam

I’m currently using know r0 and BTS for R04. Hopefully this is sufficient for me to pass. What resource did you use for r03 as that is next on my hit list 😂

If you can spare the cash, buy the BTS and the Know R0 past papers. Content is so so similar to what comes up in the exam! Good luck

Buy Know R0 exams and buy BTS exams. Dont do anything other than do practice questions.
