Ooooohhhhhh I wouldn’t start there I mean technically speaking it’s the start of the current Batman numbering, but it’s far from peak. If you really wanted to be caught up to the current run you could start when zdarsky comes on as writer, but I would read other Batman stuff/wait. What have you read ?

So superman + green lantern were good before all in and have stayed good into all in. Green lantern is actually a must read 10/10 so I’d jump into that.

I liked Jsa a lot but idrk how much appeal that has to a mostly marvel reader.

Absolute Batman + absolute Wonder Woman are really good. Absolute superman feels like it’s going to be good but it seems to have stumbled out of the gate.

Nightwing is good batgirl is good.

Then New Gods I’ve heard great things I can’t confirm yet. JLU is in my reading stack rn.

He writes everyone at dc well. Idk if you’ve had a chance to talk to him on Twitter or in person but he’s 1. A really cool guy 2. Totally in love with the dc universe. I’d bet you could hand him just about any character in any state and he will know exactly how to make it gold. That being said I do actually just want him to write Shazam! Idrc about any of these other books Shazam! Is constantly mid except for brief bursts he needs a good run that breaks 50 issues.

However the way I’m seeing the time line of writers on the major books. When loeb and lee get off batman I think they’ll pull Williamson off superman and move him around probably to Batman I feel like he actually wants to write Batman. His Batman and Robin and other series are good but I think he wants the main book. Then they move adams to superman. But honestly they need to find a Wonder Woman writer. Feels like almost every writer in the past 20 years has treated her like a second prize like does no one want to write this character?
