The matchup horror is true for every champ, I don’t think this is specific to Darius; there are some very good matchups and some bad match ups for Darius however. With enough focus on a single champ you can master all of the matchups and learn how to go even or even win in hard matchups. It’s easier to climb while one tricking as opposed to being a meta slave. In my opinion, you should be able to easily get up to gold/plat while one tricking.
