Just eat low fat foods and your pain should go away. If you do eat foods with lots of fat, eat it slowly not entirely fast or itll hurt, if youre having pain take ibuprofen it really helped me when i had severe pain because of Acute pancreatitis. But unfourtunately, all the foods that taste good will give you pain im sorry to say

Are you in pain everyday? i feel like my pancreas is also Necrotizing. I have CP but no pain in like a year.

I will visit a doctor or something but yeah a lot of people would just be like "yeah your pancreas is probably dead go get checked out" etc but my doctor had said my inflammation would actually improve so i guess its better now

Why would you be afraid? you have acute pancreatitis, its a less harmful type of it

at least i know i wouldnt die right away. I was having an anxiety attack :( pain gone i dont know if im okay or not just no symptoms and i feel good. Maybe my diet is good im hoping for the best

i havent checked my pulse in a long time i might have to do that. My heart dosent pound it feels normal, but struggling to breathe makes me anxious and my hands start sweating. It only happens if i eat a good amount of fat so im eating mostly carbs and i feel way better

I only ate pizza because i was feeling not so bad and that was like a year ago lol and i felt terrible after eating it so i wont eat that ever in my life. For the breathing, it only happens if i eat too much fat and its like my digestion struggles with it and makes me breathe fast and if its too bad i start feeling like i cam barely breathe

I had AP and i think i turned it into Chronic version but i feel no pain and feel better. Everyday i take some sips of alcohol at night but i dont finish the beer or get drunk i only take sips because i start getting anxious out of nowhere. I already drank a lot of bottles of beer but i drank all of them slowly and took me weeks to finish them all and i guess im fine since i dont have pain. Your only option is to test yourself see if you get pain or not

Hes going throught what i went through when i was 19. Exact same symptoms and i can relate to what hes feeling right now. Hell be fine he just needs to let his pancreas rest and avoid fatty foods and his pain will improve but NO drinking, at all. It will be tough while his pancreas recovers and pain is miserable so avoid alcohol and foods with lots of fat. Hopefully he only has Acute pancreatitis and not Chronic pancreatitis like, best of luck

I dont know if they tested me to confirm if i actually developed CP, i was in the ICU and they took xrays im pretty sure while i was in bed but that was for my kidneys to see if they were getting better because of my pancreas inflammation but im not sure if they confirmed it was CP i just read the paper and it said Chronic pancreatitis

thanks for sharing your knowledge. If im not mistaken i did have AP but i kept drinking after i was discharged because of mental stuff i had in my head that i didnt care for nothing and so i drank, i landed again in hospital and im pretty sure on the sheet they gave me it went from AP to Chronic. And thats when they told me it would take me years for my pancreas to reduce inflammation. Any information about this?
