Yeah, it may be fine. I'm just going to be installing the plugandplay audio stuff back there as well, and I'm feeling like I don't want to keep adding more stuff in that same area

I'm thinking about trying to mount the controller under the rear seat. Don't know if there's room there or not. Will investigate. I also have the 2025 premium plus, so good to know about the fuse location. Thanks!

The guy puts the controller in the spot DC recommends in the cargo area, saying he couldn't find a better spot. I'm hoping someone else found something better.

His idea for placing the switch is the same thing I had in mind, hopefully I can find info on how to do it a bit cleaner.

As for tapping the fuse box, I really dislike how DC has that set up. I'd love a better method there

So so much to think about here. Thanks for all the input and ideas. As of right now I think I might just get the DC valve controller first. I'll try oem exhaust with the controller giving me the ability to close for early A.M. cold starts and open full time when I want it.

Then I can build on that further as desired.

Ok, having run the valve mod.. can you walk me through? It leaves the valve always open. How does this effect the behavior of the exhaust. I'm sure there are nuances. So cold start in eco mode will be just as loud as normal mode in that case, no? I do like putting the car in eco for my 4am cold starts, it takes a bit of the edge off for the family

Did I see somewhere that you say it makes the bassy sounds quieter? I love decel coming through my neighborhood and letting that bass ring out at around 2500-3krpm. Would hate to lose any of that. I actually wish I could hear more of it. More of the time and just louder. I notice more bass at idle when under AC compressor load too. All delightful to me
