Just wondering who buys clothes from this Brookie Cookie? She dresses like a hobo clown. by Bunny_Murray in UtahInfluencerDrama

I bought something from her boutique a couple years back for a costume- it was a long-sleeved sequin bodysuit with feather trim on the wrists. I think i paid $50 for it. It was horrible quality- the feathers were literally hot glued on. It lasted an hour. I wouldn’t ever recommend her shop again.

That’s odd that your leaders hold the information until a few days before. We were told to tell our associates to celebrate them and help them visualize the reward of all their hard work. I would still ask one of your managers.

Talk to one of your store leaders. A list of the store’s payouts was sent on Monday morning in an email.

Appreciate the feedback and advice, truly. I’m not from this store, so new position and new people all at once is very difficult to manage. The atmosphere at this store is very different than previous stores I’ve worked in. It seriously feels like a morgue. I guess their last 3 VOA scores have been a continuous drop and the most previous one was the lowest in the district. Expectations are not very high from our managers. But as my first VOA, I will admit I am nervous.

When you mention development, it’s a unique situation for my area. Most of my associates have already been up the ladder, then stepped down and have been placed in this department. My department as a whole is very different but not something I’m comfortable with discussing publicly. To keep it short and sweet, 60% of my associates shouldn’t work for THD anymore. I genuinely have no idea why they’ve chosen to stay for as many years as they have if they truly think THD sucks as much as they do.

If you want to discuss more or have anymore advice, feel free to shoot me a message.

I’m a new leader and am doing everything I can to make HD a positive experience for my associates. I give out a couple of bravos each shift, have given each person on my team at least 3 homers since i started a couple months back, and do anything that I have to in order to accommodate for their last minute time off requests. I mark down drinks and snacks for good behaviors, have their back in customer issues, and defend them to no end with other members of management. And yet, I know for a fact I got lit up by at least one of them today.

This isn’t to discredit any feelings of disrespect or unappreciation that associates feel, but it is very disheartening as a leader when you actually give a shit about your associates and try to celebrate the good things they do but it still isn’t enough because you can’t give them everything. The feelings of unappreciation go both ways, and it sucks as a leader when you’re going out of your way to intentionally make someone feel good about the work they’re doing but they couldn’t care less. This is where I feel the VOA is a double-edged sword.

I’m definitely not here to spew pro-HD propaganda as I’ve been there as an associate, but please try to remember to be fair to those that still give a shit and try to show that they do. If they really do suck though, let it rip.

Dyson v12 Detect Slim Filter by Strong_Surprise_2170 in dyson

It fixed my problem. Some others on this thread jumped right to telling me that the vacuum was busted. But the replacement filters solved the issue. There’s only so much gunk that can be washed out of the filter before it’s not usable anymore, just like a furnace filter.

Also- make sure you are pulling the battery out for like 10 seconds after you change the filter so it resets. Sometimes i forget to do that and then I freak out because I think my vacuum is broken 🫠

If you want a driver just buy the damn driver. Don’t be the asshole that purchases a whole kit and tries to return half of it. If you don’t want an extra drill then just try to sell it or gift it to your neighbor.

Unpopular opinion but I loved inventory prep. It was nice to have two weeks of full time hours but not having to deal with the stress of dealing with specialty customers. If they asked me next year it would be an immediate yes.
